The Punta Gorda Police Department and Fire Departments will hold their annual Summer Youth Academy for middle school-aged students during the week of July 14-18, 2025. Students can see how police and fire departments work as well as see special presentations from the Florida Fish and Wildlife Commission, Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office, K9 Team, Evidence Technicians, and more.
Registration will be available on Thursday morning, June 12, 2025, at 9:00 AM at https://www.ci.punta-gorda.fl.us/i-want-to/apply-for/summer-youth-academy-registration on the city website. Spots fill up fast, and registration is limited, so act quickly.
